TC CC - Conformity Assessment
|
The TC CC discusses horizontal issues related to conformity assessment - both in the regulatory and non regulatory fields, such as product certification, quality management, inspection, standardisation and accreditation activities.
The TC CC also works closely together with JTC PTC in order to co-ordinate, promote and develop CEOC policies and procedures relating to conformity assessment matters, which are emerging or may emerge from European Activities such as Directives, European Standards, application guidelines and their related instructions.
The TC CC provides a forum for the exchange of information on conformity assessment and inspection issues in order to establish common positions among the CEOC International members.
The TC also supports CEOC International’s General Secretariat to lobby the European Institutions and to find and develop the contacts to the main political decision makers.
