The services of VdTÜV consist of a.o.:
- cooperating with national and international committees, at national level and Federal States (Bundesländer) level, as well as notified bodies at European level;

MKEH (Hungarian Trade Licensing Office) is a body of the state administration functioning as a Central Office subordinated to the Ministry for National Economy. MKEH has a central organization and seven (7) regional authorities of metrology and safety technology.

The regional authorities of metrology and safety technology among others issue licences for establishment and putting into operation of industrial installations such as pressure equipments and systems, power stations, fuel filling stations, storage facilities for dangerous liquids and melts, high voltage electrical transmission lines, gas appliances for industrial processes. The regional authorities supervise the technically safe operation of the above mentioned installations and establishments.

INAIL - The Workers Compensation Authority - pursues several objectives: the reduction of accidents at work, the insurance of workers involved in risky activities; the re-integration in the labour market and in social life of work accident victims.

This type of insurance, compulsory for all employers hiring workers in activities which the law defines as risky, protects workers from any kind of damage resulting from work related accidents and occupational diseases freeing employers from any civil liability.

Liftinstituut is the leading Dutch lnstitution for safety inspections of lifts, elevating and transport equipment, fairground attractions, escalators and similar installations. We are objective, independent and very professional.

Liftinstituut certifies products and quality systems. We also organise safety trainings and provide consultancy services on technical safety in general, and the Lift and Machinery Directives in particular.

The Transportation Technical Supervision (TDT) is responsible for technical safety inspection on technical devices, such as: railway and road tanks, pressure devices, overhead cranes, cranes, lifting jack, cable railway, ski lifts, hoisting winch.

TDT checks MOT stations with respect to equipment and local conditions, and inspects personnel applying for diagnostic certification. TDT certifies management systems with regard to conformity with the following standards: ISO 9001: 2000, series ISO 3834:2005, ISO 14001:2004, PN-N-18001:2004 (OHAS), EN 12408:2004.

TDT certifies products and services with regard to conformity with standards, codes and regulations (directives: 87/404/EEC; 97/23/EC; 98/37/EC; 2000/9/EC; 95/16/EC; 1999/36/CE). Notified Body number 1468.

The Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) is an organization appointed by the Polish government to assure technical safety of technical equipment through inspections of pressure equipment and lifting equipment. This challenge is realized with the help of 29 regional branches, covering the whole territory of Poland and the Central Laboratory of UDT.

Over 1500 people are employed, among them more than 1000 competent engineers are focused on supervising more than 1 million pieces of equipment, performing ca. 600.000 technical tests yearly.

UDT activity is in line with European harmonization activities. The in-house certification body UDT-CERT offers accredited services of products, personnel and management systems certification. UDT is notified to 12 European Directives (NB 1433) and its staff continuously improve their expertise as trainers, lecturers and students of the UDT Academy.

Founded in 1965, as a non profit organization, and initially focused mostly on the welding construction sector - an important and innovative technology, at that time, for the industry development - ISQ widened its range of activities during the early 1980s to include other sectors such as environment, safety, metrology, construction and electrical equipment inspections, and safety testing, Quality always being the common factor.

ISQ is a technical inspection and testing organization, providing premier technical services to assure quality and safety of constructions worldwide. CNCIR main business is conducting tests and conducting technical analyses (CAEN code 7120 - ed. rev. 2/2008- technical analysis and testing).

(1) Other activities can be achieved only when through these activities CNCIR impartiality is not prejudiced required under the technical verification process for authorizing the operation and technical checks in use.

(2) In order to achieve its object of activity, CNCIR carries the following main activities:

a) Use of technical checks carried out on equipment / installations listed in annex 2 of Law no. 64/2008, as amended and supplemented, under the terms of the technical requirements;

b) carry out technical inspections to authorize the operation of installations and equipment provided in Appendix 1 to Government Decree no. 1.340/2001 on organization and operation of National Company for Checking and Approval of Boilers, Pressure Vessels and Hoisting Equipment, as amended and supplemented, under the terms of the technical requirements, except the provisions set out in section 5 of the same annex;

c) Makes technical checks in use in installations and equipment that require determination of the duration of remaining life, under the terms of the technical requirements;

d) Check the documentation of repair installations and equipment set out in Annex 2 of Law no. 64/2008 with subsequent amendments, related to the requirements and conditions established in the technical requirements;

e) Makes - under the law and in compliance with the requirements in the technical regulation - technical verifications in use, after repair and set the following technical verification in use;

f) Conducts laboratory tests and technical examinations.

Upon accession in January 2012, the National Company for checking and approval of boilers, pressure vessels and hoisting equipment - CNCIR S.A. – had implemented SR EN ISO 9001/2008. Throughout this year, the company has achieved its objectives for 2012 by certifying its own management systems, as follows:

- SR EN ISO 18001/2008 - Management Systems for Occupational Health and Safety

Recently, the company has been accredited by the National Accreditation Body of Greece - ESYD Greece in the volunteer sector on the standard 17020, thus becoming the only accredited inspection body in Romania.

The State Inspection Body for Control of Boilers, Pressure Vessels and Hoisting Equipment - ISCIR - is the specialized body of the Romanian central administration, with juridical personality, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment.

Its main activity is to ensure, on behalf of the state, the measures for safe operation of the pressure installations, hoisting equipment and fuel consuming appliances covered by its specific technical legislation.

For accomplishing its objectives, ISCIR performs the following functions:

a) as an authority which ensures the control of the compliance with the requirements of the specific regulations and the technical verification and authorization regime;

b) as a regulatory entity which ensures the drawing up of documents with normative character;

c) as an institution of public representation which ensures the cooperation and exchange of information, at national and international level, in its field of activity.

In the year 2000 ISCIR became a member with full rights of CEOC International.

ISCIR has a quality management system, recertified in November 2009 in conformity with SR EN ISO 9001/2008.

The head unit and the 15 ISCIR territorial inspectorates are connected through the internet and an intranet network.

TECHNICKÁ INŠPEKCIA, a. s. according to § 14 part 1 of the Act no. 124/2006 Coll. performs the following activities:
• verification of professional competence of employer for expert inspections and expert tests and repairs of classified technical equipment, filling of pressure vessel for gas transportation including motor vehicle tanks and issuance of authorisations for mentioned activities
