We hereby have the pleasure to announce the publication of the CEOC International White Paper providing you an overview of the current developments in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) sector, including the TIC market trends and current challenges that the TIC sector has to face.
The 2014-2015 CEOC Annual Report is now available, providing an overview of our activities during that period.
On behalf of ACIL, CEOC International and IFIA, Hilary Reid Evans has presented the joint transatlantic position paper of the three organisations, representing both small and medium sized (SMEs) companies/laboratories and larger entities, which provide testing, inspection and certification services on both sides of the Atlantic and worldwide.

CEOC International held its 55th General Assembly on 2nd June 2015 in Cologne, kindly hosted by CEOC member TÜV Rheinland.
On 15-17 April 2015, CEOC International held the annual meeting of its Central and Eastern European (CEE) members. Kindly hosted by the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance (SAMTS), the meeting took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. Delegates from five countries gathered to discuss the latest developments and challenges regarding the national legislation on technical inspection in the CEE countries.
According to the new European Commission Work Programme, the Energy Union is one of the 23 new initiatives, which the EU executive commits to adopting in 2015. On 25 February 2015 the Commission adopted the Strategic Framework for the Energy Union. Our Special Briefing will provide you with an overview of the latest developments in the area of EU energy policy.
On 23 March 2015, the European Commission published new figures, showing that in 2014, nearly 2500 products were either stopped before they entered the EU or removed from markets because they were dangerous for EU consumers. But does the data really prove that consumer safety in Europe has increased?

The 55th CEOC General Assembly, Annual Meetings and Seminar will take place on 30th May – 2nd June 2015 in Cologne, Germany and it will be kindly hosted by TÜV Rheinland.
