On 8 November 2016, CEOC, ETICS, EUROLAB and IFIA organised the 7th International Safety Conference at The Stanhope Hotel in Brussels. This year’s conference focused on the question of how to ensure product safety in a global market.
CEOC International has published a Position Paper on 'Effective market surveillance for Europe'.
CEOC International has published the Frequently Asked Questions on Conformity Assessment in Europe.
The European Commission is currently considering a potential revision of the regulation on mutual recognition for the marketing of products in the EU internal market.
CEOC International welcomes the initiative of the European Commission to review the regulatory framework of the European Single Market.
The Joint Initiative on Standardisation (JIS) as foreseen under the Single Market Strategy, sets out an innovative way of achieving priorities through an open public-private co-operation. The signature of the JIS, took place in Amsterdam on Monday, 13th June 2016 under the Dutch Presidency of the EU.
CEOC International has become an official partner of the latest Europe-wide campaign, 'Healthy Workplaces for all ages', launched by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) on 14 April 2016.
The 2016 annual meeting of the CEOC International members from Central and Eastern Europe took place on 26-27 April in Tallinn, kindly hosted by Inspecta Estonia.
